"Integra began it's journey in 1985 as Roadcon. Founded by Andre Agterhuis after many years experience with the Country Roads Board in an engineering and technical capacity. Andre recognised the opportunity to create a civil contracting company capable of managing and constructing civil projects"
Operating from a home office, utilising hired machinery and equipment whilst employing a construction team consisting of three members, the company commenced it's maiden civil construction project in 1985. In those early days a "hands on" approach saw our founding team being involved in all facets of the business, including estimating, tendering for work, programming and costing, administration, plant operation and labouring, as well as the management of the business and its development.
The company grew rapidly from these humble beginnings to become recognised by VicRoads, the Victorian Government road authority, as one of its top ten civil contractors, employing talented management, administrative and technical staff and some 60 field employees, whilst operating its own large fleet of modern construction equipment.
Roadcon diversified into the residential property market in 1994 with the aquisition of a parcel of crown land in Ballarat. Developed and built in the Roadcon tradition of hard work, quality , innovation and community responsibility, this first estate, named Lake View Heights, was highly successful and became the catalyst for the formation and growth of the Roadcon Group.
After many years of growth and success, Andre Agterhuis retired from the business in 2011 and passed the baton onto son Matt Agterhuis and son-in-law Nick Grylewicz who have continued in the Roadcon tradition and led the company into a new era as Integra.
Since re-branding the company in 2011, the company has diversified into one of the leading property developers in regional Victoria.
