To kick off the 2021 Red Shield Appeal, Integra has made a $5,000 donation to the Salvation Army. The appeal shines a spotlight on homelessness and funds raised stay in Ballarat to support people accessing emergency relief via the Soldiers Hill homeless service, the school lunch program, doorways food distribution, bills and utility assistance initiatives, and the alcohol drugs peer support groups. We are proud to support the appeal and applaud the work of Ballarat Salvation Army officers and volunteers.

“We aim to build healthy, safe and supportive communities. The need for emergency assistance is growing and working in development, we know affordability is a big problem, and homelessness is a really valid issue we need to support. “Having a roof over your head and the safe environment that a house brings is very important.

– Integra General Manager, Matt McCabe

The contribution was made one week into the Appeal launch, which has a community aspiration of $60,000 and will run until the end of June. We hope others will follow in our fundraising footsteps in the forthcoming weeks. Supporting the Red Shield Appeal in Ballarat is a way for businesses to give back to the greater Ballarat region through local programs.
